LAMB BIPARTISAN BILL REMOVES OBSTACLES FOR VETERANS TO SERVE DURING COVID-19 EMERGENCY

(WASHINGTON, DC) – Today, Representative Conor Lamb (PA-17) was joined by Representative Neal Dunn (FL-2) and a bipartisan coalition of Members to introduce the Supporting Education Recognition for Veterans during Emergencies (SERVE) Act.  The legislation will ensure veterans’ service-connected medical qualifications and expertise are utilized by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and civilian healthcare facilities to meet the challenges of the Coronavirus public health emergency.

LAMB ANNOUNCES 2020 CONGRESSIONAL APP CHALLENGE FOR PA-17 MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

(PITTSBURGH, PA) – Today, Representative Conor Lamb (PA-17) launched the annual Congressional App Challenge for middle and high school students living or attending school in Pennsylvania’s 17th Congressional District.  Sponsored by the Internet Education Foundation, this nationwide competition recognizes and encourages the programming and app design skills of young constituents and is a great opportunity to showcase programming skills.

LAMB URGES FURTHER INVESTIGATION OF MANAGEMENT AND OVERSIGHT AT BRIGHTON FACILITY IN BEAVER COUNTY

(WASHINGTON, DC) – In a letter to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Representative Conor Lamb (PA-17) requested a full investigation into the oversight by the Pennsylvania Department of Health of the COVID-19 outbreak at Brighton Rehabilitation and Wellness Center (Brighton) in Beaver County and the use of hydroxychloroquine at the facility.
