(WASHINGTON, DC) –– Today, Representative Conor Lamb (PA-17) and a bipartisan group of Pennsylvania Members of Congress announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) has awarded the Allegheny County Airport Authority (ACAA) an $18.69M grant through the Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development (BUILD) Transportation Discretionary Grant program.

(WASHINGTON, DC) – Today, the House passed the broad election protection package H.R. 4617, the Stopping Harmful Interference in Elections for a Lasting Democracy (SHIELD) Act. Included within the SHIELD Act is H.R. 4703, the DEFEND Act (Defending Elections from Foreign Efforts to Negate Democracy), a bill introduced by Representative Conor Lamb (PA-17).

The DEFEND Act would prohibit foreign nationals from paying to promote, attack, support, or oppose American candidates online. This legislation protects our domestic elections by:

(WASHINGTON, DC) – Today, the House passed H.R. 3207, a bill introduced by Representative Conor Lamb (PA-17) to designate the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 114 Mill Street in Hookstown, Pennsylvania, as the "Staff Sergeant Dylan Elchin Post Office Building." Staff Sergeant Elchin was tragically killed by a roadside bomb in Ghazni province in Afghanistan on November 27, 2018.

(WASHINGTON, DC) – Today, the House passed H.R. 2385, a bipartisan bill authored by Representatives Conor Lamb (PA-17) and Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-1) to provide the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs with the authority to establish a grant program to conduct cemetery research and produce outreach materials for the Veterans Legacy Program (VLP), an educational initiative from the National Cemetery Administration (NCA).

"Today the House overwhelmingly passed a Resolution for the Administration to comply with the law by providing the complete Whistleblower complaint to Congress, beyond just the phone call readout released earlier today. This same Resolution passed unanimously in the Senate yesterday.

"There's nothing partisan about following the law and protecting our national security. Congress must continue our work to get the truth."
