LAMB APPOINTED TO HOUSE COMMITTEE ON TRANSPORTATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE
(WASHINGTON, DC) – Today, Representative Conor Lamb (PA-17) was appointed to serve on the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure.
“Our regional infrastructure deficiencies are problems that everyone – taxpayers, commuters, workers, business owners – experience every day. I will work hard on the Committee to improve our roads, bridges, and locks and dams; to modernize and protect our pipelines; and to increase airport and rail funding in southwestern Pennsylvania,” said Lamb. “We have an extraordinarily skilled and well-trained workforce ready and prepared to meet these needs. These infrastructure investments will help fill many good jobs and continue to grow our regional economy.”
The House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure has jurisdiction over all modes of transportation: aviation, maritime and waterborne transportation, highways, bridges, mass transit, and railroads.
