FY2022 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) Community Project Funding Requests
Congressman Conor Lamb has submitted funding requests fior Community Project Funding requests in Pennsylvania’s 17th Congressional District pertaining to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2022.
For this process, each Member was allowed to submit no more than 10 Community Project Funding requests for consideration in the FY22 NDAA. The committee will not consider requests that would direct Community Project Funding to any for-profit entities.
In compliance with House Rules and Committee requirements, Congressman Lamb has certified that he, his spouse, and his immediate family have no financial interest in any of the projects he has requested.

Project Name: Army Research Lab’s Additive Manufacturing Machine Learning Initiative
Amount of Request: $5,000,000
Intended Recipient: Carnegie Mellon University
The Army Research Lab’s (ARL) Additive Manufacturing/Machine Learning (AM/ML) initiative enables the production of high-quality AM parts with the flexibility to alter specifications to meet specific needs and use available materials from the field. Carnegie Mellon University serves as the lead on this project and the research aligns with the goals of the Department of Defense Additive Manufacturing Strategy.
